<p>A new pyridine, 4-(1′-acetoxy-2′-p-hydroxyphenylethyl)-2-methyl-pyridine (<b>1</b>) and seven known compounds (<b>2–8</b>) were isolated from the roots of <i>Merremia umbellata</i>. The structure of the new pyridine was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence.</p>

摘要

A new pyridine, 4-(1′-acetoxy-2′-p-hydroxyphenylethyl)-2-methyl-pyridine (1) and seven known compounds (2–8) were isolated from the roots of Merremia umbellata. The structure of the new pyridine was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence.
