<p>Lipids including fatty acids and lipophilic and volatile compounds isolated from leaves, flowers, and fruit of freshly collected <i>Ferula tenuisecta</i> Korovin ex Pavlov (Apiaceae) were studied for the first time. Lipids from leaves included the major (Z,Z,Z)-octadeca-9,12,15-trienoic (linolenic) acid (51.7%) and its homolog identified for the first time, (Z,Z,Z)-hexadeca-7,10,13-trienoic acid (13.5%), which confirmed that this species belonged to a group containing 16:3 acid.</p>
