A New Secondary Metabolite with Cytotoxicity from Formosa Tithonia diversifolia
摘要
A new germacrane sesquiterpene, tagitinin J (1), along with five previously reported known sesquiterpenes (2–6), and two caffeoylquinic acid derivatives (7 and 8) were isolated from the branches and leaves of Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsl.) A. Gray. The structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic analyses and by comparison with the spectral data of related known compounds. In addition, the in vitro cytotoxic activities of those compounds were evaluated against DLD-1, MOLT-4, LNCaP, and PC3 human tumor cell lines.
