<p>A new alkaloid was isolated from <i>Portulaca oleracea</i> L., determined using spectroscopic methods, including UV, IR, 1D and 2D NMR, ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC-ESI-Q-TOF/MS). The undescribed compound was named oleracrylimide F and was found to significantly reduce the interleukin-1<i>β</i> (IL-1<i>β</i>) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-<i>α</i>) levels associated with inflammatory activity at 20 and 10 μM, respectively.</p>
