摘要

Transforming growth factor (TGF-β), a key mediator of tumor growth and metastasis, has been recognized as an important cancer drug target. In this work, we have identified a series of panaxadiol derivatives as novel ALK5 inhibitors. Among those, compound Q3 exhibited the most pronounced ALK5 activity of all the compounds with an activity of 65.72%. Moreover, the binding mode of Q3 generated by the flexible docking study shows that it fits well into the site cavity of ALK5 by forming several tight interactions.
