<p>The phytochemical investigation of the aerial parts of <i>Daphne gemmata</i> led to the isolation and characterization of three biscoumarin compounds, including one new compound identified as secodihydroedgeworin (<b>1</b>), along with two known compounds, daphnoretin (<b>2</b>), and methyl 3-(2-hydroxy-4-(7-hydroxy-6-methoxycoumarin-3-yloxy)phenyl)propanoate (<b>3</b>). Their structures were elucidated by combinational analyses of HR-MS and NMR spectroscopic techniques. The three compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against A549, MDA-MB-231, and SW480 cell lines by MTS assay, and the results indicated that compounds <b>1</b> and <b>3</b> exhibited moderate cytotoxic activities against the MDA-MB-231 cell line, with IC<sub>50</sub> values of 15.39 ± 1.07 μM and 20.27 ± 1.28 μM, respectively.</p>
