<p>Healthcare devices and systems equipped with sensors can capture medical data from the patients, irrespective of their location and position. This data can then be used to monitor and create accurate digital patient models, which helps in monitoring the day-to-day patient activities. This paper presents a framework of PIoT-SIoT for community healthcare by integrating XAI for more acceptability at the patient level and doctor’s level. IoT-enabled patient monitoring has increased over the years, but the acceptance of the data and their results is still at large because of the trust deficit of the patients in the digital health community. To improve the acceptability and make the system more user-friendly, XAI is integrated with the PIoT-SIoT setup. This paper investigates and proposes the integration of the XAI-PIoT-SIoT framework to improve community healthcare services.</p>
