<p>Adolescence is a critical period in terms of identity development and sexual development. Dynamic oriented Brief-Emergency-Psychotherapy (BEP) is an effective approach in supporting the developmental process during adolescence. Gender dysphoria is associated with ethical debates, social challenges, adaptation difficulties, and secondary psychopathological symptoms. In Türkiye, data on the prognosis and prevalence of gender dysphoria among adolescents remain insufficient and inconclusive. The aim of this study is to examine the effectiveness of BEP on gender dysphoria. The research was conducted using the case study method. The therapeutic process is presented in detail with therapist-client quotes. During the in-depth study phase, it was determined that the main problem was gender dysphoria. In addition, the client reported that she needed support in self-compassion, qualified interpersonal relationships and coping skills. A total of eight sessions of therapeutic process were conducted with the client and it was found that BEP was effective in gender dysphoria.</p>
