<p>The S-random interleaver and its efficient application are considered. A method is proposed for selecting the parameters of an S-random interleaver/deinterleaver in wireless data transmission systems with LDPC codes under a priori uncertainty in order to reduce the complexity of the interleaving/deinterleaving procedure and increase the reliability of information transmission. The proposed method is shown to provide energy gains for the WiMAX standard.</p>
