<p>The author has proposed an improvement to the Berlekamp–Massey method for the case of its use for searching periodicities in bitstreams with errors. The essence of the improvement is the different splitting of a bitstream into blocks, using a consecutive bitwise shift before each parameter processing, and making decisions about the register length and feedback polynomial value based on the proposed mathematical formulas.</p>
