Application of “Smart Plant” Concept to Achieve Optimal Processing of C4-Fractions from Catalytic Cracking Units
摘要
The article presents a systematic analysis of the role and practical application of modern control systems – from the base layer (PID regulation) to smart solutions (Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, digital twins) – for achieving optimal performance of C4-fraction processing plants. It is shown that the key factor of efficiency is not only the choice of technology, but also the ability of the control system to adapt to the changing composition of the feed, offset the arising disturbances and ensure precise adherence to optimal operating conditions in real time. The necessity of transition from local stabilizing control to integrated adaptive systems capable of actualizing the “smart plant” concept is validated.
