<p>In this article, the feasibility is examined for the qualified use of lignosulfonate, which is a by‑product of the pulp and paper industry, as a component of a urethane adhesive. In the first step of this development, a sample of lignosulfonate from the Solikam‑Skbutprom factory was dried to residual moisture of 4.824 mass % under optimized technological conditions: 3 hours drying time, 90°C drying temperature, and 125 m3/h dry air supply rate. Formulas were then developed for using the dried lignosulfonate in the second step. Physicomechanical properties comparable to those for a commercial analog from Polychem Systems were achieved with the greatest lignosulfonate content examined (40 mass %) in the polyurethane adhesive.</p>
