<p>The present essay introduces the Virtual Special Issue (VSI) on Genocide and Business Ethics. Besides a brief description of the articles included in the VSI, it also offers a wider conceptual articulation between different aspects of the business ethics literature that relate to how genocides happen, how corporations become key players in their perpetration, and what the moral implications of their involvement are. Mainly, the articles selected in the present issue account for two main concerns: (1) the moral responsibilities of business in the context of genocide and state-led human rights violations; and (2) the underlying dynamics of organizational ethics that render genocides possible.</p>
