Comparative analysis of the optical properties of polycarbonate safety glasses for dentistry with an experimental spectrophotometric attachment
摘要
The optical parameters of polycarbonate protective glasses for dentistry are compared. An experimental spectrophotometric system was used to make measurements because spectrophotometric technical measuring instruments support the investigation of a variety of optical materials with high accuracy and reliability, making this work promising and relevant. This report defines the objectives and tasks of the study. A functional diagram of the experimental arrangement is provided and technical characteristics are given. Spectral relationships between transmittance and wavelength were obtained and th maximum transmittances of study samples were determined; relationships between material thickness and transmittance were identified.
