摘要

This study addresses the possibility of using electrical impedance methods to assess microcirculation in the forehead using numerical modeling. An approach has been developed allowing quantitative assessment of the dynamics of microcirculatory blood flow taking account of the influence of the anatomical features of head tissues on the impedance signal generated. Comparative analysis of different electrode system configurations was run and their features in recording changes in blood filling were identified. Numerical modeling and experimental verification have confirmed the significance of the data captured and point to the high sensitivity and information content of the method. The results are of value for further optimization of intraoperative monitoring systems and the diagnosis of circulatory disorders.
