<p>This article presents results from studies of experimental samples with bioactive coatings manufactured by micro-arc oxidation followed by application of a&#xa0;composite coating based on a&#xa0;bioresorbable polymer (chitosan) supplemented with a&#xa0;pharmaceutical preparation (povidone-iodine, octenidine dihydrochloride). Study samples were found to suppress the activity of hospital strains of microorganisms to different extents. The test samples did not have marked toxic properties in relation to human mesenchymal stem cells and were able to induce them to undergo osteogenic differentiation. The results obtained form this set of studies proposed optimal types of coatings for intraosseous titanium implants with antibacterial properties for clinical testing at the N.&#xa0;N.&#xa0;Burdenko Main Military Clinical Hospital, Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.</p>
