A subsystem for detecting the parameters of speech signals in children with disabilities in a medical decision-making system
摘要
This article addresses the effectiveness of the diagnosis of speech development to improve the rehabilitation process for children with mental retardation using audiovisual stimulation. A subsystem for detecting speech signal parameters for the medical decision-making system is proposed. Energy and mean frequency were studied in 120 example speakers before and after audiovisual stimulation. Analysis of the data and the probability densities of values leads to the conclusion that energy and mean frequency are significant informative parameters and can be used as an additional source of information in the medical decision-making system for diagnosis of speech development as part of the rehabilitation process for children with mental retardation.
