<p>This paper investigates the smoothness of inertial manifolds for a class of semilinear hyperbolic equations. Instead of transforming the original semilinear hyperbolic equation into a parabolic version, we directly construct the <i>C</i><sup><i>n,ε</i></sup>-smooth extension of inertial manifolds for the considered hyperbolic equations, which allows us to weaken the conditions about the spectral gap and parameters of the system.</p>

摘要

This paper investigates the smoothness of inertial manifolds for a class of semilinear hyperbolic equations. Instead of transforming the original semilinear hyperbolic equation into a parabolic version, we directly construct the Cn,ε-smooth extension of inertial manifolds for the considered hyperbolic equations, which allows us to weaken the conditions about the spectral gap and parameters of the system.
