Inwood first defines public scholarship and shares how her research examining the connections between farm viability and access to affordable quality health insurance and childcare has led to proposed new policy in the U.S. Farm Bill. The address reflects on strategies for surviving the perils of public scholarship, and the role AFHVS as a society has in nurturing and supporting public scholarship.</p>
