<p>Banana cultivation in Türkiye’s Mediterranean region is increasingly challenged by water scarcity, rising production costs, and environmental pressures. This study evaluated the economic performance of seven weed control strategies under two irrigation regimes—full (IR100) and deficit (IR50)—in greenhouse banana production. Conducted over two consecutive growing seasons (2022–2024) in Mersin, Türkiye, the experiment compared four herbicide characters (Oxyfluorfen + Glyphosate + Diquat, Pendimethalin + Glyphosate + Diquat, Indaziflam + Diquat, and Glyphosate + Glyphosate + Diquat) with three alternative methods (mulching, mechanical control, and mowing). A&#xa0;cost–benefit analysis (CBA) approach was used to assess yield, gross profit, and cost–benefit ratio (CBR) as indicators of economic efficiency. Under deficit irrigation (IR50), mulching achieved the highest yield (3.632 kg da<sup>−1</sup>) and profitability (CBR = 1.04; ₺ 4.043 da<sup>−1</sup> gross profit), while the herbicide Glyphosate + Glyphosate + Diquat (G + G + D) also performed competitively (CBR = 1.02; ₺ 1.923 da<sup>−1</sup> gross profit). In contrast, mowing resulted in the weakest performance (CBR = 0.93; −₺ 5.223 da<sup>−1</sup>). Under full irrigation (IR100), all methods proved economically viable; however, mulching again outperformed the others (CBR = 1.46; ₺ 43.033 da<sup>−1</sup>), followed by mechanical control (CBR = 1.41; ₺ 35.490 da<sup>−1</sup>) and the Pendimethalin + Glyphosate + Diquat (P + G + D) herbicide applications, which emerged as the most effective chemical treatment (CBR = 1.39; ₺ 32.700 da<sup>−1</sup>). Overall, the findings reveal that mulching offers the most sustainable and profitable weed control solution for greenhouse banana cultivation in semi-arid Mediterranean conditions, while P + G + D provides a&#xa0;reliable chemical alternative with strong and consistent economic outcomes. These results emphasize the importance of integrating efficient irrigation management with environmentally responsible weed control strategies to enhance resource-use efficiency and secure long-term farm profitability.</p>
