<p>This study aimed to evaluate the yield potential and fruit quality of four <i>Vitis labrusca</i> cultivars (‘Folha de Figo,’ ‘Carmem,’ ‘Violeta,’ and ‘Isabel Precoce’) trained under two distinct systems—espalier (vertical shoot positioning) and simple cordon—in the edaphoclimatic conditions of central Minas Gerais, Brazil. The experiment followed a&#xa0;randomized complete block design (2 × 4&#xa0;factorial) and assessed agronomic variables (number of clusters, cluster weight, yield per vine, and productivity per hectare) and physicochemical parameters (soluble solids, titratable acidity, and pH). ‘Folha de Figo’ stood out in agronomic performance, reaching 32.29 t·ha<sup>−1</sup> and 12.11 kg per vine when trained in the simple cordon system, with an average cluster weight of 211.25 g and 58–62&#xa0;clusters per vine. The highest soluble solids content was observed in ‘Violeta’ (16.97 °Brix), while the highest titratable acidity (105.5 meq·L<sup>−1</sup>) was found in ‘Folha de Figo’ under the same system. ‘Isabel Precoce’ and Violeta’ also showed good productive performance and balanced quality attributes, while ‘Carmem’ exhibited the lowest productivity (≤ 3.17 t·ha<sup>−1</sup>) and soluble solids content (~11 °Brix). Pearson correlation and principal component analysis revealed strong associations among yield components and chemical traits, particularly under the simple cordon system. Overall, varietal characteristics exerted a&#xa0;stronger influence than the training system, but the simple cordon proved more effective in enhancing fruit composition and yield. These findings support the use of adapted training systems combined with appropriate cultivar selection to optimize grapevine performance in the Cerrado biome.</p>
