<p>Litchi growers face severe annual losses due to damage from various insect pests. The fruit borer <i>Conopomorpha sinensis</i> Bradley (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae) is one of the most destructive insect pests and a&#xa0;major threat to litchi growers. Experiments were conducted in two modules (single and double spray) at the Litchi and Mango Research Station (LMRS), Nagrota Bagwan (with cv. ‘Dehradun’), using a&#xa0;randomized block design with three replications. Five insecticides (lambda cyhalothrin, cypermethrin, chlorantraniliprole, flubendiamide, imidacloprid) and three biopesticides (azadirachtin, <i>Bacillus thuringiensis</i> [Bt], spinosad) were tested at three concentrations against <i>C. sinensis</i> over two consecutive years (2021–2022). All treatments were significantly more effective than the control. In 2021, chlorantraniliprole (18.5% SC) and flubendiamide (39.35% SC) showed the lowest fruit infestation: 7.33% and 7.68% (single spray) and 5.80% and 6.32% (double spray), respectively. A&#xa0;similar trend was observed in 2022, with rates of 8.16% and 8.00% (single spray) and 5.00% and 6.00% (double spray). The highest benefit–cost ratio (BCR) in 2021 was recorded for chlorantraniliprole (6.22:1, single spray) and flubendiamide (6.14:1, double spray). In 2022, chlorantraniliprole had the highest BCR in both modules (6.09:1 and 6.01:1). Overall, chlorantraniliprole and flubendiamide were the most effective and are recommended for alternate use by litchi growers.</p>
