<p>The experiment was carried out in 2020–21 at the Fruit Research Farm, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab, to investigate the physico-chemical properties of ‘Umran’ ber. The ber plants were treated with CPPU 10 ppm, CPPU 20 ppm, KNO<sub>3</sub> 1%, KNO<sub>3</sub> 1.5%, KNO<sub>3</sub> 2.0%, and their combinations, while the control plants were sprayed with normal water. The findings indicated that plants subjected to CPPU 10 ppm + KNO<sub>3</sub> 1.5% exhibited superior fruit retention, fruit weight, fruit length, fruit breadth, fruit number, fruit yield in kg per tree, total soluble solids, ascorbic acid content, minimal fruit drop, and reduced acidity. In contrast, the highest antioxidant activity was observed in the treatment of CPPU 10 ppm + KNO<sub>3</sub> 1% compared to the control. Nevertheless, the composition of leaf nutrients and the leaf chlorophyll content in leaves differ across treatments. The plants subjected to CPPU and KNO<sub>3</sub>, either alone or in combination, exhibited the highest levels of leaf nitrogen, leaf phosphorus, leaf potassium, chlorophyll&#xa0;A, chlorophyll&#xa0;B, and total chlorophyll content, however the lowest leaf phosphorus content was noted in CPPU 10 ppm compared to the other treatments. In conclusion, the application of CPPU 10 ppm + KNO<sub>3</sub> 1.5% improved the physio-chemical properties of ‘Umran’ ber, followed by the combination of CPPU 20 ppm + KNO<sub>3</sub> 1.5%.</p>
