<p>Root rot and chlorotic leaves were found on poorly growing, potted forget-me-nots (<i>Myosotis</i> sp.) in commercial greenhouses in Nara Prefecture, Japan. The pathogen causing the symptoms was identified as <i>Globisporangium irregulare</i> based on morphological characteristics, effect of temperature on mycelial growth rate, and ITS and <i>COX</i>1 sequences. This is the first report of <i>G. irregulare</i> causing root rot of forget-me-nots in the world.</p>

摘要

Root rot and chlorotic leaves were found on poorly growing, potted forget-me-nots (Myosotis sp.) in commercial greenhouses in Nara Prefecture, Japan.
