<p>We report the case of a&#xa0;tonic-clonic seizure on a&#xa0;stable dose of lamotrigine after long-standing treatment of idiopathic generalized epilepsy. Prior to the recurrence the patient underwent postoperative pain treatment with dipyrone for 1 week, a&#xa0;moderate to strong enzyme inducer. The time course of the lamotrigine levels and the pharmacokinetics of induced glucuronidation are discussed.</p>
