摘要

Tubal pregnancy is the most common form of extrauterine pregnancy. Despite improved diagnostic and therapeutic options, extrauterine pregnancy is still the main cause of death in the first trimester. Treatment options include expectant management, medical treatment using methotrexate injections, or surgical therapy. Surgical treatment of tubal pregnancy involves either an organ-preserving procedure or salpingectomy. Laparoscopy is the “gold standard” in the surgical treatment of extrauterine pregnancy. Future fertility is also becoming increasingly important in the choice of surgical treatment. Which of the options (tube preservation vs. salpingectomy) should be favored is still under discussion. The DEMETER and ESEP studies were unable to show any significant difference in the cumulative pregnancy rate. Regarding the choice of surgical procedure, the patient’s wishes should be considered in addition to the clinical situation and medical history and should therefore always be decided on an individual basis.
