PPPMPM: open-source MATLAB-based multipath modeling software to mitigate multipath effects in multi-constellation and multi-frequency PPP
摘要
To mitigate multipath effects in multi-constellation and multi-frequency precise point positioning (PPP), we developed open-source multipath modeling software named PPPMPM via the MATLAB programming language. This software integrates the widely used sidereal filter (SF), multipath hemispherical map (MHM), and trend surface analysis-based MHM (TMHM) methods. To test the performance of this software, multi-constellation and multi-frequency SF, MHM1.0, and TMHM1.0 multipath models were constructed for 50 global stations. Analyses of residual variance reduction percentages indicated that the three multipath corrections effectively mitigated multipath errors and improved observation accuracies. The performance of multi-constellation and multi-frequency kinematic float PPP, PPP wide-lane ambiguity resolution, and PPP cascading ambiguity resolution improved significantly after the three multipath corrections.
