Überblick Simulation: Was ist sie, wie geht sie, was bringt sie?
摘要
Simulation as a method is versatile and effective. A particular focus of the method is on interaction and shared experiences of learning situations in interdisciplinary and interprofessional teams. This often renders it being more complex and resource-intensive than other methods of adult education. When integrated into the curriculum in a meaningful way and applied methodically and correctly, it can lead to lasting learning success in terms of change learning. Debriefing is essential for this learning success and simulation instructors must be regularly trained to ensure the highest possible quality. Another effect of structured simulation training that can be observed at the organizational level is a reduced rate of incidents and, as a result, improved patient outcomes combined with a reduction in the costs of patient care. In the context of the simulation method, particular focus should be placed on training in interprofessional teams as these correspond to the working reality and enable the results of the training to be effectively transferred into everyday practice.
