Elektive EVAR bei infrarenalen Bauchaortenaneurysmen
摘要
The elective endovascular treatment of infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) has become the established treatment in Germany and in many European countries. This article describes the indications, anatomical planning and technical surgical performance of the standard endovascular aortic repair (EVAR), starting with epidemiological principles and patient-related decision criteria (e.g., risk of rupture, comorbidity, patient preference) and subsequently, systematic explanation of the anatomical prerequisites. The third part describes step by step the surgical approach of a bimodular/trimodular prosthesis. Special aspects, such as image fusion, percutaneous access, heparinization and the management of potential complications, such as type I/III endoleaks, kinking or branch occlusion are critically discussed. The aim is the mediation of confirmed theoretical knowledge as the foundation for the practical application and examination for qualification as an endovascular surgeon.
