Onkologische Forschung mit versorgungsnahen Daten – PLATO 2
摘要
PLATO 2 is intended to establish a specialist organizational network that links the existing, highly fragmented registries holding data from cancer patients. Its goal is to contribute to standardization and facilitate the use of routine data in cancer research. Via counseling, a flexible expert panel, simplified application protocols, and consistent adherence to common data standards, PLATO 2 aims to close the gap between the data and the research communities. The concept will be tested and further developed in use cases. This is presented based on the example of a prospective study examining guideline implementation and the effects of proposed interventions for patients with endometrial cancer.
