Kinematic numerical analysis of bending plate bearing capacity under cyclic loads
摘要
This study introduces a robust approach for determining safety factors and elucidating failure mechanisms in bending plates under cyclic loading conditions. The kinematic shakedown formulation is established by integrating the Hsieh–Clough–Tocher element with second-order cone programming. The resulting optimization problems, characterized by a multitude of variables and constraints, are efficiently solved using the MOSEK optimizer, a highly effective primal–dual interior-point algorithm-based solver. The proposed method’s efficacy is validated by investigating various metal plates with diverse geometries, loading, and boundary conditions.
