Denitrative etherification of nitroarenes with phenols in the presence of NiFe2O4@Cu nanoparticles as a magnetically recoverable catalyst
摘要
In this study, magnetic copper nanoparticles supported on nickel ferrite, NiFe2O4@Cu, were prepared and evaluated for O-arylation of nitroarenes with phenols. The significant advantage of this reaction is the use of Cu-based magnetic nanoparticles, which are cost-effective, air-stable, and can be easily separated using an external magnet. The catalyst was successfully reused for five consecutive runs without significant loss of catalytic activity.
