ConclusionCarmustine wafer implantation is a safe and efficient technique following surgical resection of a glioblastoma, IDH-wildtype. Sequential technical steps are required to improve the safety and the efficacy of Carmustine wafer implantation. More than eight Carmustine wafers could be implanted in large surgical cavities with survival benefits for the patients.
