Social mobile analytics and cloud computing: a big data analytical approach
摘要
Social media has transformed communication among individuals and virtual communities, facilitated by devices like computers, smartwatches, and mobile phones. Platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram enable users to exchange ideas and collaborate, generating vast amounts of unstructured data that can be structured using algorithms and machine learning. Recent advancements in technologies like big data and cloud computing have significantly altered the ICT industry and fostered sociocultural shifts that affect user behavior and service provider expectations. The SMAC framework encompassing Social, Mobile, Analytics, and Cloud; collects and processes social data to extract valuable insights, addressing various data-related issues. Cloud computing mediates between organizations and stakeholders, offering virtual resources that enhance life quality by identifying data patterns and improving accessibility. The study highlights key collaborative elements such as smartphones, crowds, and platforms that facilitate numerous activities, although several challenges such as energy consumption, access control, and privacy concerns persist, potentially limiting the full implementation of these technologies. The impact of SMAC on both individuals and organizations underscores the societal motivation to adopt these technological solutions.
