Two new species of Impatiens subg. Clavicarpa from southern China
摘要
Impatiens shanglinensis sp. nov. and I. guangnanensis sp. nov., two new species from southern China, are described and illustrated. I. shanglinensis is morphologically similar to I. guihouensis, but differs significantly in its obovate or obovate-lanceolate lamina, longer bract, narrowly oblong inner lateral sepals and ovate-lanceolate basal lobes. I. guangnanensis is morphologically similar to I. clavigera var. auriculata, but differs significantly in its wingless stem, obovate or obovate-lanceolate lamina, longer pedicel, shorter pedicels and lateral sepals, dorsal petal with retuse apex, triangular-ovate basal lobes and subtetragonous distal lobes. Micromorphological characteristics of pollens and seeds of two new species were observed and molecular data confirms that two new species belong to I. subg. Clavicarpa.
