Three-Nucleon Force Effects in the Proton-Deuteron Breakup Reaction
摘要
Effects of three-nucleon forces in the proton-deuteron breakup reactions, p(d, pp)n, at intermediate energy (80 MeV/nucleon) are investigated. Three-nucleon force models based on the exchanges of two pions among three nucleons are examined with different ways of the cutoff procedure adjusted to the empirical three-nucleon binding energy. Calculations are performed by solving three-nucleon Faddeev equations as integral equations in coordinate space with effects of the proton-proton Coulomb force being treated properly. Effects of three-nucleon forces on the breakup cross sections in various geometrical configurations of final three nucleons are explored. It is found that the breakup cross sections at some geometrical configurations are sensitive to three-nucleon forces at medium and short range regions.
