Fixed/preassigned-time synchronization of complex networks under aperiodically intermittent event-triggered control

This paper considers the fixed-/preassigned-time synchronization of complex networks via aperiodically intermittent event-triggered control. A novel intermittent control lemma is developed to ensure fixed-time synchronization with the help of an event-triggered method. Some criteria are proposed to achieve the synchronization goal for complex networks within a fixed/preassigned time via two types of aperiodically intermittent event-triggered controllers. A numerical example is given to illustrate the validity of the new theoretical results.
