<p>Since the beginning of 2026, the Montanuniversität Leoben has been concentrating its research activities in the field of raw materials in a&#xa0;newly created cluster of excellence, the strategic core research area SCoRe&#xa0;A<sup>+</sup> Raw Materials. The objective of this initiative is twofold: firstly, to enhance strategic networking between individual research groups from diverse departments within the university, as well as with external research institutions and industry partners; and secondly, to augment the external impact of the respective research areas, with a&#xa0;particular emphasis on the exceptional research outcomes. Furthermore, specific measures will be implemented to raise public awareness of raw materials. This will also make a&#xa0;significant contribution to the implementation of technological solutions in the mineral raw materials industry and the geoenergy sector.</p>

Since the beginning of 2026, the Montanuniversität Leoben has been concentrating its research activities in the field of raw materials in a newly created cluster of excellence, the strategic core research area SCoRe A+ Raw Materials.
