Review of quantum algorithms for medicine, finance and logistics

Quantum computing represents an emerging technology, that leverages the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics to solve highly complex problems that are beyond the capabilities of classical computers. Due to the unique characteristics of quantum computers, optimisation algorithms can be significantly improved, offering performance that surpasses classical methods, especially for computationally intractable problems. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of recent scientific research focused on the development of effective quantum algorithms in specific application contexts, with particular emphasis on the healthcare, finance, production planning and logistics sectors. Additionally, we present a comprehensive classification of methodologies and approaches employed in the design and implementation of quantum algorithms.
