Kardiale Implantate auf Röntgenbildern: Herzklappenimplantate
摘要
Heart valve implants are mechanical or biological prostheses used to treat heart valve diseases. On X‑ray images these implants appear as characteristic radiopaque structures, which are mostly easily visualized due to their metal components. The exact position and placement of the prosthesis can be identified on chest X‑rays. The X‑rays are useful for detecting potential complications such as a dislocation or calcification.
