<p>Intracranial tumors frequently produce neuro-ophthalmic signs that can be critical in refining diagnosis and guiding management, particularly for sellar and suprasellar lesions. We report the case of a 12-year-old boy with a suprasellar mass initially presumed to be a craniopharyngioma based on imaging. However, after a comprehensive neuro-ophthalmologic examination was entirely normal, a biopsy was done proving the mass to be a pilocytic astrocytoma with pilomyxoid features. We aim here to illustrate the diagnostic value of a neuro-ophthalmologic examination in the evaluation of suprasellar tumors.</p>
