<p><i>Pseudomonas aeruginosa</i>, a key member of the ESKAPE pathogen group, is a common cause of urinary tract infections (UTIs), particularly in patients with indwelling urinary catheters. Due to its large genome, <i>P. aeruginosa</i> has a high potential for genetic mutations, enabling the development of multidrug resistance. Additionally, it produces a variety of virulence factors, which contribute to persistent and often refractory infections. While UTIs caused by <i>Escherichia coli</i> have been extensively studied, those caused by <i>P. aeruginosa</i> remain less well understood. Understanding the mechanisms underlying the occurrence and progression of <i>P. aeruginosa</i>-associated UTIs, as well as the evolution of its antimicrobial resistance, is crucial for developing more effective treatment strategies. This paper provides an overview of the interaction between <i>P. aeruginosa</i> and UTIs, offering insights that could aid in more effective management and eradication of <i>P. aeruginosa</i> in the urinary tract.</p>
