<p>Quality assurance and quality management are becoming increasingly important in manual medicine. The legal basis is anchored in the German Social Code Book V. Measurable indicators for evaluating the quality of manual medicine treatment have not been unequivocally defined to date. With establishment of the new ÄMM certification, the Ärzteseminar für Manuelle Medizin Berlin (ÄMM) has provided manual therapists with the opportunity to demonstrate their own treatment quality using clearly defined quality criteria.</p>
