The convergence of nanotechnology and biotechnology is driving a paradigm shift in scientific innovation, enabling unprecedented control over biological systems at the molecular level. Nanosciences and nanotechnologies are evolving at an exceptionally fast rate, promising a real revolution in a wide range of sectors where the ability to influence matter at the atomic or (supra) molecular scale is crucial. The convergence of nanotechnology and biotechnology represents a transformative frontier in science and engineering, offering innovative solutions at the interface of biology and technology. This review explores the synergistic integration of these disciplines, focusing on key advancements such as nanobiomaterials for tissue engineering, nano-enabled drug delivery systems, biosensors, and synthetic biology applications.
