<p>This research is on the mechanism of biogenic magnetic nanoparticles biomineralization in the presence of stresses in living things. The magnetic nature acquired under the effect of ionizing gamma radiation was studied by applying Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy. Broad EPR signals (g = 2.3; ∆H = 320 G) characterizing biogenic iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles were recorded in the liver organs of laboratory rats (<i>Wistar albino</i>) exposed to various doses (3&#xa0;Gy, 6&#xa0;Gy, 8&#xa0;Gy) of ionizing gamma radiation as a stress factor. It was possible to visualize the formation of nanophase magnetic particles (magnetite Fe3O4) in the liver of rats under the influence of gamma radiation in the Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM). The paper discussed the changes in pathomorphology caused by bioaccumulation and localization of nanoparticles into the structural elements of liver (hepatocytes and sinuoids) in laboratory rats exposed to gamma radiations. It was found that Fe<sub>3</sub>O<sub>4</sub> nanoparticles were present in different cytoplasmic organelles, such as mitochondria, lysosomes, glycogen deposits, nucleus, and the cytoplasm.The increase in radiation dose caused pathomorphological destructive changes in the hepatocytes of the liver. The obtained results are shown to be important for application in biomedicine.</p>
