<p>Radiological examinations using cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) are a&#xa0;central element of cardiological diagnostics for patients with suspected or confirmed coronary heart disease. The medical analysis is carried out qualitatively and visually using the images produced by the CMR. In addition to the generated image, modern CMRs are able to capture a&#xa0;large number of quantitative parameters that are of considerable research interest for supporting medical decision-making. This manuscript describes from a&#xa0;technical perspective how a&#xa0;comprehensive register has been set up at the Bosch Health Campus&#xa0;(BHC) in Stuttgart in co-operation between cardiology and medical informatics, which brings together qualitative and quantitative information relating to an examination in the CMR. The registry has already been used for initial medical publications and, with its wealth of information, offers a&#xa0;wide range of perspectives for future research projects.</p>

In addition to the generated image, modern CMRs are able to capture a large number of quantitative parameters that are of considerable research interest for supporting medical decision-making. This manuscript describes from a technical perspective how a comprehensive register has been set up at the Bosch Health Campus (BHC) in Stuttgart in co-operation between cardiology and medical informatics, which brings together qualitative and quantitative information relating to an examination in the CMR. The registry has already been used for initial medical publications and, with its wealth of information, offers a wide range of perspectives for future research projects.
