Regenerative® Hair Transplant: Innovation in Hair Transplantation Regenerative® Hair Transplant
摘要
Using stem cells for hair restoration (reversal of hair loss, regeneration of hair follicles) is already a well-established clinical practice.
ObjectiveTo present regenerative hair transplantation, a pioneering and innovative technique that combines traditional hair transplantation and autologous stem cells to promote hair growth, and improve transplantation results, increasing hair density, hair quality, and graft success rate.
MethodsFollicular stem cells were obtained in hair transplantation using the regenerative hair transplantation method. After being extracted, the follicles underwent dissection and filtration, and the cell solution obtained was injected into the transplant recipient area, where there was the presence of native follicles.
ResultsOur analysis revealed a high percentage of cells marked with CD44. The combined analysis (cell type and quantity) indicated that most cells had a phenotypic profile characteristic of dermal papilla MSCs.
Discussion/ConclusionThe combination of hair transplantation with the use of autologous mesenchymal cells represents a promising advance in treating baldness. This technique allows the optimization of transplantation results, providing greater hair density. This is because the method combines the clinical treatment of native follicles with autologous cells and the hair transplant. This method is innovative because, to date, there has been no description of this combination in the literature.
