Background <p>Currently, there is no standardized preoperative eyebrow design method specifically for eyebrow transplantation surgery in clinical practice. This paper introduces a model tailored for the Chinese male population, the “five-point method” which is based on existing eyebrow design techniques and aims to provide a basis for eyebrow shape design in eyebrow transplantation surgery.</p> Methods <p>In a prospective study spanning two years (June 2020–May 2022), 21 patients who underwent the "five-point method" were included. Blind observers used the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale (GAIS) to assess these patients and 33 others who had previously undergone conventional eyebrow transplantation. Additionally, patients self-evaluated using the FACE-Q scale preoperatively and six months postoperatively, analyzing changes in appearance, psychological, and social functioning.</p> Results <p>The GAIS results indicated that 95.24% of patients treated with the “five-point method” were rated as “greatly improved,” “much improved,” or “improved,” significantly outperforming the 84.85% in conventional eyebrow transplantation. FACE-Q self-assessment results showed that, compared to preoperative conditions, most patients experienced improvements in appearance, aging, psychological, and social functioning.</p> Conclusion <p>The “five-point method” is a standardized, effective preoperative eyebrow design method, superior to conventional surgery in terms of improvement. Background
