Isolated Mitral Valve Regurgitation: A Rare Presentation of ALCAPA in Children
摘要
Isolated mitral valve regurgitation is an extremely rare presentation of anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ALCAPA). When left ventricle systolic function is preserved, ALCAPA can be easily overlooked. Herein, we present a case series of 3 patients with ALCAPA and preserved systolic function who presented with isolated mitral valve regurgitation (MVR). This manuscript underscores the importance of considering ALCAPA in any patient presenting with isolated MVR.
