Method for mitigating stray current in DC metro line with local high insulation
摘要
Currently, stray current (SC) has become a disaster for the operation of DC metro line. Although the high insulation of running rails in the whole line can suppress SC leakage, the economic cost of this solution is very high. In order to suppress the SC in crucial areas, a SC protection method with local high insulation is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the scheme of mitigating SC with local high insulation in DC traction power supply system (TPSS) is proposed. Local high insulation in crucial areas is set, and at both ends of the protection section, unidirectional connecting devices (UCD) are set to realize unidirectional electrical isolation. Secondly, a simulation model of the DC TPSS with local high insulation is established, in which the unidirectional isolation of the section is considered, and the dynamic distribution of SC is solved. Then, different scenarios are validated and analyzed with the parameters of Hefei Metro Line 2. Results show that the local high insulation with different scenarios all significantly reduce the SC leakage in the protection area and whole line, and effectively suppress the impact of train operation outside the section on the SC in the protected section.
